Key Performance Indicators

The Evergreen Public Schools will engage all students in learning and increase its graduation rate to 100% through achieving the following:

Objective 1: Grades K-3 ALL students will be proficient or higher in READING at the end of grade 3, as measured by the state assessment;

  • 64% of Kindergarten students scored low risk on the EIRA 3rd trimester assessment in the 2014-15 school year.
  • 67% of 1st grade students scored low risk on the EIRA 3rd trimester assessment in the 2014-15 school year.
  • 70% of 2nd grade students scored low risk on the EIRA 3rd trimester assessment in the 2014-15 school year.
  • 63% of 3rd grade students met standard on the state reading assessment in the 2014-15 school year.

Objective 2: Grades 4-5. ALL students will be proficient or higher in MATH at the end of grade 5, as measured by the state assessment;

  • 52.2 % of 4th grade students met standard on the state math assessment in the 2014-15 school year.
  • 35% of 4th grade students scored low risk on the common math assessment 3rd trimester in the 2014-15 school year.
  • 50% of 5th grade students met standard on the state math assessment in the 2014-15 school year.
  • 24% of 5th grade students scored low risk on the common math assessment 3rd trimester in the 2014-15 school year.

Objective 3: Grades 6-8. ALL students will pass ALL of their classes each year – NO FAILING GRADES;

  • There were 5468 students enrolled in grades 6 through 8 in 2013-14. 265 students were reported with failing grades in Mathematics.
  • There were 5468 students enrolled in grades 6 through 8 in 2013-14. 236 students were reported with failing grades in Humanities.
  • There were 5468 students enrolled in grades 6 through 8 in 2013-14. 278 students were reported with failing grades in Science.

Objective 4: Grades 9-12 ALL students will graduate with the skills to be world competitive – NO DROP OUTS.
