The Flash Alert system is used to send weather and emergency notifications to subscribers. The district also sends a variety of press releases and event reminders via this system. New accounts can be created and existing accounts manged online at http://www.flashalert.net/news.html?id=22. An app is also available for iOS and Android smartphones.
Inclement weather updates are always posted on social media sites.
