College, Career & Technical Education - About Us

Meet the Evergreen Public Schools College, Career, and Technical Education Staff

Susan Dixon, CCTE Director

Susan's favorite getaway is the beach, where she enjoys sharing the company of her husband of over 30 years and their furry-footed children.

John Akers, Program Manager

When not at work, John spends his time fishing with his golden retriever, golfing with his son and brother, taking outdoor photos, hiking with his daughter, or working in his shop.

Kim Berhow, Assistant Director

Kim loves to travel,  particularly with her family. Whether they head to the mountains of southern Oregon, the San Juan Islands, Disneyland, or Alaska in the middle of winter, they all enjoy exploring, museums, state capitols, and having fun.

Laurie Hamann, Reporting Coordinator

In her spare time, Laurie enjoys exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with her husband, visiting with her grown children, and hoarding fiber and fabric.

Stephanie Harris, Fiscal Specialist

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys baking tasty desserts for her two children, gardening, and exploring new brewpubs with her husband.

Kay Jones, Curriculum Specialist/Coach

Kay's perfect days include spending time with her granddaughters and family, enjoying pink flowers, sewing something special, exploring sunny beaches, and a little barre3 for good measure.

Tracie Skinner, Executive Secretary

Tracie is usually at the softball field watching both of her daughters play ball. She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend on their 10-acre property, and fostering dogs for a local rescue group.

Corey Van Brunt, Worksite Learning Coordinator

Corey lives in Vancouver, with his wife and children. When not at work, he's off aiding the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the Galactic Empire in a galaxy far, far away.

Toni Wise, Business Outreach Coordinator

Toni enjoys kayaking, walking her greyhound, and being a fun grandma. A photography enthusiast since childhood, she loves to collect and use old film cameras.
