Summer Benefits Available for Families That Qualify.
Your student(s) may qualify for Summer EBT benefits. Now is the time to ensure the proper paperwork is on file. Families that qualify for the Summer EBT program, as determined by income, will be eligible for a one-time $120 payment per student.
If your student is enrolled in Evergreen Public Schools (online only students may not be eligible), and has an approved benefit on file with EPS Child Nutrition Services, they automatically qualify for the program, and no further action is needed. Eligibility is determined if your student(s) are certified for benefits through DSHS (Washington State Department of Social and Health Services), have an approved CNS Benefit Application on file with EPS Child Nutrition Services, or have an approved Summer EBT application filed with DSHS directly.
If you need to fill out a CNS Benefit Application, you may do so through your Skyward Family Access, online forms. If you have questions about eligibility, please email Nutrition.Services@evergreenps.org, or call (360) 604-4034. Applications must be received by May 1st in order to be eligible for these benefits.
The payment for these benefits is issued directly by DSHS (in partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture) through SUN Bucks cards. EPS does not handle distribution of funds. More information can be found on the SUN Bucks Washington webpage.
